Hi, I’m Natalie (she/her), the owner of rebel rebel hair studio.
I created rebel rebel in March 2020 after being a stylist since 2009 - and just in time for the Covid pandemic. Due to my “excellent” timing, the doors remained closed before they were ever opened. rebel rebel officially opened in June 2021.
My goal in opening this space was to create a relaxed, unpretentious, yet upscale environment to work with clients in a personal setting. By removing the chaos of a traditional salon setting, I feel I can get to know clients on a different level which allows me to better create hairstyles that are very customized to you.
Masking is required in the salon to limit the spread of contagious diseases. The space has clean air provided by a huge HEPA filter, and when weather permits the window will be open. I sanitize above and beyond the usual salon requirements.
This is a gender inclusive salon, all my services and prices are the same for everyone! All-gender bathrooms are also available.
I work with all hair textures, and I would describe my style of work as lived-in and effortlessly fashionable.
My areas of expertise are balayage, vivid colors, natural looking gray coverage, fine or thinning hair, and textured haircuts. I love learning new styles and techniques, and I’m always taking continuing education classes. I also love to pass knowledge along to clients, and teach you the best ways to take care of your hair.
Located in Studioworks Ballard which is easily reached by car, bus, or walking. Free street parking is available on 54th or 14th. The building and studio are wheelchair accessible and have all-gender restrooms.
